GH checks out some Adelaide landmarks

1/ The Ashes was on in Adelaide, and everyone had a role to play….

2/ Ours was to chronicle a fine Test, in which Australia did not have it all their own way, but prevailed - the sign of a good team.

Their T-shirt is, all the same, not a patch on ours (shown off below at Prospect Cricket Club’s Not the Test Match Dinner, with Pete and Athers).

England, by contrast, reserved their best two days of cricket in the series to the end, and are now being rightly if predictably gored. Another Boxing Day dead rubber, eh? It’s still bound to be popular, but what a squib this visiting team has proved.
