BBL privatisation: State chairs call a halt to process until serious concerns addressed
PL on news that State chairs have agreed to continue the fractured privatisation process
Don’t believe the hype. Cricket Australia’s push to privatise the BBL has hit a brick wall with state chairs demanding governance reform and other significant changes before any state - Victoria was singled out - can take its franchises to market.
If it’s not a brick wall, it is a series of obstacles that amount to the same for any state wishing to sell in the near future.
Privatisation in the BBL is not happening anytime soon.
