There was a cleaning van parked outside of Cricket NSW on Wednesday morning, it was tempting to think they’d been called in to clean the blood and fur from the furnishings in the aftermath of yesterday’s revelations of a serious clash with Cricket Australia.
Okay, it wasn’t quite that bad, but things have got heated in the last 24 hours.
Cricket Et Al revealed yesterday that the push to privatise the BBL had reached the point where the powerful cricket state was at loggerheads with CA chair Mike Baird, a situation complicated by the fact that he is their nominee and, to some degree, serves at their discretion.
