Not a great series as captain or as a bat so plenty of opportunities for photos showing emotion I suppose.

Joe Roots an interesting one to me. Doesn’t show big emotion but just little changes in expression says a lot with Joe.

Some great shots. What a wonderful job you have done.

By my calculations your Ashes contribution was equal to 2,387,000 words.

Love sports photos and all they add to the coverage and found this interesting how you gravitate to certain players.

Watched three of the tests live this series and one of the things that stood out was stokes when fielding, he lived and died with each ball, he gave his all

Not a good sign that the captain is so obviously emotional. The best captains give off positive and calm vibes and their players feed off that.

Stokes to me is more like your hero warrior, not your general.

I image in your trade, having a guy like Stokesy on on the field might fill you with anticipation, Phil. His damp ginger complexion, tattooed skin and saxon features add up to a complex character crying out to be "captured". A frustrated Stoksey could be THE IMAGE to remind us of series 25/26 in years to come!!

I imagine Botham and before him Tony Greig would also have monopolised the camera lens. Wonder who was the most photographed player in perhaps the most famous series of all, Bodyline in 1932-33?

Stokes loves these situations.

Some great shots. Reckon you should be tapping Toyota for a wedge as well.... ;-)
