IPL instructs coaches to stay and wants shaken players to return

Most foreign players may have escaped India and Pakistan, but the IPL coaches, including Ricky Ponting, have been told by their franchises to remain in place, despite breaches to the ceasefire.
IPL officials want to restart the tournament before the end of the week, but Cricket Et Al has been told that many of the 15 Australian players, who have flown home or are still in transit as of Sunday morning, are shaken and reluctant to return so soon.
Ponting, coach of the Punjab Kings, who were playing when Thursday’s game against Delhi was abandoned, had intended to fly home on Friday, but had his plans changed once the ceasefire was announced.
