Top 10 book to movie adaptations list from both of you might be required…

Second nom for One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest…

Also:

- Wuthering Heights

- The Godfather

- The English Patient

- The Lord of the Rings trilogy

- To Kill a Mockingbird

- American Psycho

- Fight Club

- The Shining

- The Silence of the Lambs

Now, make it harder; top ten Oztrayan book to movie adaptations? Make it harder and have it only set locally (ie not Schindler’s Ark)

- Picnic at Hanging Rock

- Storm Boy

- True History of the Kelly Gang

- Our Sunshine

- Candy

- The Shiralee

- He Died With a Felafel in His Hands

- Lion

Add in TV show adaptations and the lists balloon!

Wake In Fright the movie is better than the book.

And for worst adaptations? The Hobbit trilogy is up there, wrecked a good story by milking it into 3 films

Beautiful words from Pete about the aftermath of the ‘controversy’. Great to have communities of support in these troubled times

The Pod was a little more interesting than much of the day's play. The Aussies did a fantastic job of just slowing the scoring to a crawl. Didn't make for exciting viewing for a while but certainly paid dividends.

Like Peter I really enjoyed watching Starcy go about his work. Always loved the guy and he just bowled beautifully.

As for the other thing it is great to hear Peter felt the support of Cricket et al this week. There were numerous posters on Twitter and Blue Sky showing their support as well. I wonder if Pete knew he had so many friends.
