Cricket Et Al’s hundredth episode heralds Mitchell Starc’s hundredth Test, so Pete and Gid pay him extravagant tribute, including a Top 10. Bonus pink bits. Also: fun in Kingston (a cameo). Also: why did Bob Marley drive a Beamer?

Some great memories of MS; loved the last-ball-of-ashes recollection, the simile of farmers leaning on a post, and (can I be a bit cheeky) the satisfaction/enjoyment of a top ten meaning that the last mention of his name at the end of the pod as Mitchell Johnson seemed to go unnoticed 😁.
What I’ve noticed most about him in the last few years concerns what I always thought that a giveaway bad sign was seeing him kicking at the footholds more than a couple of times in an over - not in rhythm, looking in the way he was going about it like something not feeling right for him - that often foretold a spell of little threat and/or many runs. What I’ve noticed is that I very rarely notice that happening any more- always focused, even when conditions not in his favour he’s got a plan and carries some threat.
