Indian players cleared of ball tampering and dissent

Cricket Australia has moved to play down suggestions of ball tampering and dissent made by an umpire against the India A side during the match in Mackay on Sunday.

There were heated scenes at the start of play on day four of the game with the visiting players arguing with umpire Shawn Craig, prior to the first ball of play, over the official’s decision to change the ball.
