Players block BBL privatisation model
PL reports that the Australian Cricketers Association has called a halt to a BBL franchise sell off that had run off the rails
Cricket Australia has been sent back to the drawing board by its players, who say that they cannot support a Big Bash League privatisation model that has created so much division in the country, insisting that there be a unified approach before going to market.
It is another setback for the organisation, which failed with an earlier push to get all the states on board for the sale and had subsequently adopted a hybrid approach where states could do as they pleased.
